Visitors will delight in this exhibition that looks at the artist’s sculpture from his art student days to the present.
  The sculptor sculptor’s earliest artwork included in “Romancing Iron” an abstract figure carved from lava stone, a “Mexican Goddess” created under the influence of Liccione’s sculpture teacher Jose DeCreft. Spanish born DeCreft was a first sculptor to create directly on stone constructing a maquette, or model of stone sculpture. Liccione art, sculpture forging iron as DeCreft sculpted stone.
